Riverside Breakfast with Jason Rosam and Battersea Power Station. We celebrate country music as Country on the Common is coming to Tooting on 5th and 6th July. And a huge announcement on the show as we launch our weekly radio soap opera The Wandsworth Way with Theatre503 as part of The London Borough of Culture we'll be producing 40 episodes of the serial drama. Hear from the people making the project happen including cheif writer and award winner James Fritz, Nadine Wild-Palmer who's playing the leading character Tash as well as community actors Kieran, Chloe, Seb and Judy and community writers Lilli, Kim, Ian and Orode. Deputy Leader of Wandsworth Council Cllr Kemi Akinola joins as well as Theatre503's Artistic Director Anthony Simpson-Pike and our very important sound designer Farokh Soltani who's stitiching the whole project together and creating the theme tune! A public meeting was held earlier this week about Putney High Street with Local MP Fleur Anderson, Wandsworth Council cabinet members Jenny Yates and Kemi Akinola, Positively Putney BID director Nicola Grant, and Met Police Inspector Steve Burke. Riverside Radio's Charlie Pritchard was also there and this morning we speak to Fleur Anderson and Nicola Grant on the future of Putney High Street, how they are attempting to tackle some of the issues such as traffic and shoplifting plus some good news as M&S are making a return. We start our coverage of Wandsworth Arts Fringe 2025 and this year there's more than ever as Wandsworth celebrates being the London Borough of Culture. Jason and Ali meet Catherine Sweet from the BobCat Art Gallery in Putney who speaks about the international non-profit arts organisation ArtCan who'll be taking over the gallery in Putney's Exchange Shopping Centre between 3rd - 21st June and Janet Shipton from Parky Players Theatre Group who explains how a group of people living with Parkinsons got together throuhg comedy and their performance at the Balham Baptist Church this weekend called 'Been There, Done That, Got The Symptoms!' We also discuss the 90th anniversary of the driving test by asking if you passed first time and any other stories on learning to drive or being tested. Tom Hopkinson has all the latest local news and sport in Riverside Reports. Martin Adams is our quiz master in Monday's Breakfast Grill.

The youth organisation is taking part in the BIG GIVE fortnight to raise funds for the workshops they run for young people to teach them the skills essential for navigating life, including bike mechanics, mental health, cooking, photography, life skills, employment and money. Jason and Ali want to know if you were in a youth club and what activities you got up to.
